COVID-19 Updated Restrictions & Guidelines

Please review guidelines and restrictions we have in place to keep our guests and ourselves safe from the spread of COVID-19. As these can change often, we've created this page to update as necessary.

UPDATED 6-23-2022:

Face Coverings (Masks) are now required in the common areas of our inn for guests that are not vaccinated, or are showing symptoms of Covid (cough, fever, sore throat, headache, feeling ill.) We encourage you to wear a mask if you would like, and we are happy to wear a mask if requested. In fact, you may often see us wearing masks even though all of our staff is fully vaccinated and boosted. For the health and safety of our guests and staff, we reserve the right to request a negative Covid test if you are showing any signs of Covid while staying at our inn. Free testing is available. If you test positive during your stay with us, please plan to check out immediately. Unfortunately, we are not able to allow you to quarantine at our inn.

Medify Air Purifiers. Every room in the inn is equipped with an air purifier to remove 99.9% of bacteria and viruses in the air.

Breakfast reservations. Please reserve your breakfast time upon arrival, this will allow us to serve you in a timely manner and allow for a less crowded breakfast area. As always, our two-course, gourmet breakfast is included in your stay at Blue Harbor House Inn.

Outdoor dining. Weather permitting, we offer outdoor dining on our front porch. This is in addition our charming indoor dining room. We ask that any unvaccinated guests or any guests showing symptoms of Covid please enjoy the outdoor dining.

Daily housekeeping. Daily housekeeping is provided only upon request. Service includes replacing dirty towels and dishes, replenishing consumables, and removing trash in order to limit the amount of time spent inside each occupied guest room. Please place your service tag on your door when you leave for the day. Housekeeping is available 11 am - 3pm.

If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, please contact us at least 14 days prior to your arrival. We are happy to change your dates for no fee. If you cancel at least 14 days prior to your arrival, we will refund your deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee, per room reserved. Cancellations within fourteen days (14) of your stay are non-refundable.


Balance due will automatically be charged 14 days prior to arrival to the credit card on file.
