Lauren & Greg Schivley
Lauren and Greg Schivley fell in love with Blue Harbor House Inn the same weekend Lauren ran her first marathon through Acadia National Park. On the way home, they stumbled into Camden almost by chance — and when they walked through the inn, they felt the magic. A few months later, they purchased it!
Lauren brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, technology, and corporate leadership to the inn, with a Harvard MBA and a deep belief that the most powerful thing you can do for anyone is make them feel genuinely seen and cared for. She's also an RRCA-certified run coach and marathoner who knows firsthand that Camden's trails, coastal roads, and harbor views are something special. She runs nearly every day and is already falling in love with Camden's trails, coastal roads, and harbor views — and can't wait to share them with guests.
Greg is a researcher and engineer with Princeton University with a PhD in environmental engineering and a passion for sustainability, the outdoors, and feeding people well. He frequently bakes fresh sourdough and shares a genuine love of the trails, harbors, and wild places that make Midcoast Maine so special.
Together they moved to Camden from New Jersey with their three kids — Aiden, Elliot, and Ingrid — who have already declared it the best decision the family has ever made. They are fully, happily, chaotically all in.
