The king-size Captain's bed comes with a brand-new mattress, and the spacious sitting area is where guests tend to linger: an oversized chair, a flat-screen smart TV, a Vermont Castings gas fireplace, a wet bar, and a desk for anyone catching up on postcards — or, occasionally, email. Step through the semi-private deck's private outside entrance for morning coffee in the harbor air, then retreat to the ensuite bath for a slow start to the day.
A twin sleeper sofa in the sitting area accommodates one additional child (additional nightly fee). Traveling as two couples, or with extended family? Book the Captain's Quarters alongside the neighboring Compass Rose suite — the two rooms sit right next to each other and share a private porch, giving everyone their own space with an easy step between.
